Coca-Cola “Taste Turned On”

Coca-Cola China tasked us with creating a regional campaign including this commercial, digital and activation ideas, and hero OOH for a Coke + Food initiative. Basically, we needed to communicate that Coke went well with all sorts of Asian foods. We settled on the idea that when the taste of Coke is combined with the flavors of local food, it makes them even better. But since the ad would be used regionally, we couldn't feature food or talent that was specific to any Asian country. It was a complicated process to settle on a table of food and a cast of attractive Pan-Asians. We also shot a version with the same story using the famous Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit.
