Weekend in San Francisco
I spent this past weekend in San Francisco. Here are a few photos:
The city seen through the fog from atop Twin Peaks.
View of downtown from a pier near the Ferry Building.
A worker tends to some mysterious dock problem as pigeons look on.
The door to San Remo, some type of place that we stayed that has been whatever it is since 1906. Shared baths, cluttered halls, great atmosphere. Like a hostel, but more expensive. If only there was some type of sign to tell me what type of business I was patronizing…
Crazy trompe l’oeil bricks on a house in the Castro/Mission border.
F-Line streetcars waiting at Castro and Market St.
Golden Gate Park (GGP).
Observation gallery of the Bay from the GGP tower of the De Young Museum.
Trees of death.
Flower Conservatory in GGP.
J. at the Sutro Bath ruins.
China Town.
Foggy view of the city from the Marin Headlands.
Fortunately I seen the view in good weather.
View of Lands End from the Marin Headlands.
Point Bonita Lighthouse, reached through a cave and a narrow suspension bridge over a jagged, foaming chasm.
View of the shore out the lighthouse door.
The Pacific.
