Shirt | charcoal on paper

This rendering study was done by applying a layer of charcoal dust and using an eraser to bring out the light. The three dimensional effect is achieved not by the light shapes, but by the edges of those shapes. Cast shadow edges are crisp; form shadows are graduated. From 3rd term.
