Old Spice “Manly Test”

This ad, along with the companion website, was second in the glorious relaunch of Old Spice many years ago. It's a throwback to the 1-800-PROVE-IT Old Spice ads that started in the 80s and ran for nearly two decades. The twist is in the performance claims and wordplay. It doesn't ask for much or try to sparkle for your attention through flashy graphics, but it does speak from the heart. Or at least the spokesman does. The :15 version cuts through the clutter through quiet intensity.
